Tylenol...sleeping.....comp!

hey everyone! so this week was another week of miracles!!!! we seriously saw a miracles every single day! i am just loving to get to know all of the members and am sooo thankful that i am really dang good with names. i probably have creeped several of the members out by knowing their names and all of their childrens names. hahaha oh well they love it. we are having some serious fun on top of it all! ok so i dont really have much time to write this post (i was wayyy too into emailing my mom and lost track of time) so funny story of the week: i was asleep, innocently minding my own business then BAM! i wake up because my companion sits up straight in her bed and stares at me. i was like "uhhhh are you ok?" she lays back down and says "NO" i was like "whats wrong?" she said "my head HURTS!" so being a spectacular companion i get up and get some tylenol for her and let her use my water bottle to take the meds. she goes back to sleep almost immediately. in the morning i asked her about it and she barely had a recollection of the event. i asked her if she remembered me giving her tylenol and she didnt! i gave some sleeping person tylenol in their sleep! what a creepy person i am! i just give people meds while they are sleeping no big deal. hahaha we keep having all kinds of crazy funny stories but as usual i cannot remember them! well i just want you all to know that i love you and will write more next week! enjoy my very few picutres form the week! Movie star Digs!!

hey eveyone!

another crazy week in the Maryland Baltimore Mission! So it was really quite hard to say goodbye to every one in the martinsburg ward. i love them all so much! one of the hardest parts of being a missionary is leaving an area. I have realized it is because as missionaries we put our whole heart into the area and the people where we serve. you put your whole "heart, might, mind and strength" into it everyday and then you leave so suddenly. at first i hated that part, but then i realized that i will be friends forever with all of these people that i have met on my mission. they have changed my life forever. the other hard part about last week was saying goodbye to my companion sister bingham. she finished her mission and went home. i love that woman and miss her like crazy already! but then the great part about being a missionary is meeting the new people and getting to love them as well. i got here to the woodstock ward and the first day (thursday) it snowed a foot and a half! then we moved apartments! now we live in a two story town home and its amazing! we each have our own bathroom! its like i am a movie star! especially since i got used to sharing one bathroom with three of us sisters for the past month. i have soo much time in the mornings i dont even know what to do with all the time! yesterday at church was great! it is a small cute little ward with amazing people who are willing to serve! they all welcomed me in very well :) i love Virginia already! it is beautiful here! i am kinda tired of all the snow though.... SPRING where you at??? well my new compaion sister shumway is amamzing! she is really chill and really sarcastic so we get along wonderfully! i am excited and ready to work my heart out in this area as well. i love serving the Lord! nothing makes you happier! funny story of the week... sister shumway and i were walking in the snow and we walked through a snow bank and all of a sudden she fell and her leg disappeard. she fell into a gutter covered by snow! of course i took a picture before i helped her up! hahaha great first day together! (picutres to follow the story available) well i love you all! MAKE GOOD CHOICES!

One of these pictures is not like the other!

hey everyone!
so drum roll please.......... I am getting transferred to woodstock virginia! my 3rd area on my mission and my 3rd state i will serve in. i am sooo excited! i already sorta know a family there because they used to be here in the martinsburg ward! also just two months ago woodstock was a branch and now its a ward. president told me they are super missionary minded and that i was going to just love it there! i am excited to work really hard out there in virginia. i will really miss my martinsburg ward though. i love every one here so much i feel so loved and at home. everyone is giving me birthday presents and brithday parties. i just had a birthday party with a family last night. it was so cute! one of the little boys handed me a ninja turtle valentine and said I LOVE YOU! melted my heart! it is really hard to leave all of these people you love so much but it is part of life and i am excited to love the people in woodstock. i cannot believe how much STUFF i have acquired in my 6 months of being here! i am having a hard time fitting it into my suitcases hahaha ok this week was just GREAT! we got to go to the temple with some members! it was just what we needed. i love the temple soooo stinking much! it is sooo beautiful and peaceful :)  so funny/painful story of the week. this morning we were on our way to work out with TISH THE TERMINATOR and i was getting out of the driver seat... innocently going about my business. i stuck one my feet and the ground and started to get out when all of a sudden my foot just kept sliding, and sliding and then slid some more. my other foot was still stuck in the car. i was doing the splits in the driveway. luckily i was in my work out clothes.... would have been really bad in a skirt. of course i screamed and my companions being the kind, compassionate people they are stood there and laughed at me so hard they almost peed. after i got out of the splits my companions regretted not helping me up.... NOT. the only regret they had was not having a camera to record the scene. hahaha we love each other. they are used to me sliding on the ice now anyway. well i am excited for the new adventure in Virginia! i am ready to meet who ever the Lord is going to put in my path. i love being a missionary and meeting and loving all of these people out here. they are changing my life. i will miss getting to know all of the sisters on exchanges but i am ready to be a normal missionary and fully focus on my area. i will miss everyone here and will forever be grateful for my time in martinsburg west virginia. i hope everyone is doing well! love ya'll! lots of snow and lots of prayer!

Hey Ya'll!!!

So this week was really great! i really cannot seem to remember a lot of it. we have had some amazing miracles. we have one of our investigators on date to be baptized March 13th. it was a really cool experience. sorry this email is a little late! yesterday it snowed a lot and the mission doesnt allow us to drive when the weather is bad so we stayed in and worked out and watch church movies. it was pretty boring! missionaries get bored really easily if we arent go go going. so we are allowed to drive today and its a little icy. whenever its snowing or a little icy my two utah companions make me drive so they can teach me how to do it right! let me tell ya..... im getting gooooood... ish. haha its gives us some good luaghs because they are both used to the car sliding a little bit and whenever it slides when i drive i scream at the top of my lungs haha. drama queen. so one of the church movies we watch is called 17 miracles. it is an amazing movie about the pioneers and all the miracles they saw crossing the plains. watch it if you have not yet. well me and sister joens and sister bingham quote it sorta frequently.... that is when you know you have been out on your mission for almost 10 months. hahaha we crack ourselves up sooo hard when we quote it. ok so this week i had a really cool experience with prayer. so one of the sisters called me kinda in a panic and crying this week. she couldnt talk lond or tell me whats up. so we got off the phone and i was really panicked. i was lost on what to do so i said a prayer. while i was saying my prayer i got the calmest feeling and i knew everything was going to be ok. she called me back later that night and we got everything worked out. i just know that Heavenly Father loves each one of us and knows what we need. he will never abandon us. i know that Heavenly Father has a plan and we just need to have faith. i know that when we pray He hears us! i promise! well i am sorry i cant remember more of the week. stay tuned for next week when we find out about transfers. lets see if i am getting transferred after being in martinsburg west virginia for 6months...... dun dun dun! i love it here sooo much it will be hard to leave but even harder if i stay another transfer then have to leave. we will see what Heavenly Father has in store for me next on my mission. LIFE IS GREAT! Love ya'll! MAKE GOOD CHOICES!
